Halloween Fun & Finally I found my camera cord!

Yesterday was a good day! Work wasn't stressful, I got a raise that showed on my paycheck, went to a Halloween party. I'm just happy because we didn't do ANYTHING last year. I told myself we would have to do SOMETHING, and i'm glad we did... thanks to Sara and her awesome party.

Here are some photos from the party. I was Elin and Andy was Tiger...

It was fun teasing my hair and smearing my make-up! :)

I was so excited finding my camera cord this morning and uploaded the photos from our honeymoon and Halloween party last night.

Today, Andy and I don't have much plans except carve our pumpkin and relax. I'm taking off work Monday to take care of marriage license stuff (social securty card, drivers license, etc.). I'm excited! I just know it's going to be a long process.

Well, I need to get out of bed, eat and get ready before Andy gets off work!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BBBBBOOOOOOO!

Why Do Weekends Fly By?

I'm tired of the weekends flying by so quickly!

I'm stoked about the Rangers winning on Friday night. I admit, I wasn't too involved with baseball this season, but when I knew the Rangers were kicking butt, I had to watch! It's amazing how this is the first time in the World Series. Exciting!

This weekend was full of movie fun! Andy and I went and saw Jackass 3D. Well, lets just say it was a very "guy" kind of movie, but what do you expect? There were some funny parts, though! We also went and saw Paranormal Activity 2 yesterday. I'm a little indifferent about it, but I wasn't overly excited about the first one either. Either way, it's a scary movie that is fun to watch around Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, Andy and I are going to Wal-Mart tonight and getting our pumpkin! :) I was impressed on Friday night with all the B rated scary movies on TV, but became VERY disappointed as the weekend continued. There was LITERALLY nothing on last night.

I was looking up the process of what I need to do now that my marriage license came back in! WHOOP! So excited, but at the same time i'm really anxious on the whole process and NOT looking forward to going to the offices to do this. I might just take off next week and go around to get this taken care of (minus my social security card, I don't think I have to do this in person). I also need to get my vehicle registration taken care of and get my oil changed. Ugh, lots to do and not enough time to do it.

Well, I better finish up my lunch and get back to work! I just LOVE staying in at lunch and working ;) :) That means I get out at a decent time!

Weekend .. YES!

So, this weekend went by way too fast! Too much catching up to do in the routine while relaxing. :( Friday at work was fun until I started feeling achy. Luckily, I left an hour early so I could come home and relax. I am so glad I did because I didn't feel a massive head cold the next day. I still feel "blah," but nothing compared to some of the head cold's I have had in the past.

Andy got off work early enough yesterday and I was feeling a little better where we decided to go to the State Fair before it closed for the year. I'm so glad we did! We ate corn dogs, turkey legs, and funnel cake! Yum! We watched pig races, the petting zoo, lazer/mini Bellagio light show, and the car show. Wow, so i'm still set that I want a Nissan GTR.

We also looked at SUV's that Andy is looking for in the future. One in particular I thought looked the best was the Yukon Texas Special Edition in gray.

Anyways, I got to clean up the upstairs now and possibly take a nap! :)

Also, AWESOME webcam stills from my laptop. ENJOY~

I'm Married! :)

Wow!

So, I haven't blogged in YEARS! Crazy! I used to be very active with blogging, but became very busy with school, finding a job, etc. Now that I am no longer working during my lunch and evenings on wedding planning, I can pursue a blog again! Feel free to add me if you'd like.

Well, I am a married woman now and I still cannot believe that I am no longer Miss Meyer. I'm excited though! I love Andy so much and couldn't be happier. Now that we are married, it really isn't much different since we were living together (which is a good thing!). We had an AMAZING wedding and reception. I don't quite remember the full details of everything (time flew by!) but I do remember bits and pieces of it and couldn't be happier to spend that day with close family and friends.

Some photos can be viewed here from our photographer: http://www.davidsixtblog.com/2010/10/08/mandy-and-andy-marry-at-sonterra/

I still haven't uploaded photos from the Caribbean (Turks and Caicos) just yet, but I will once I get more time. :) It was so relaxing! I'll post more in detail when I make a blog post of the photos!

When we finally got back to Dallas, Andy and I went through our kitchen and threw away nasty old stuff and replaced them with our new kitchen supplies that we got for our wedding! I am actually using the crock pot today and can smell the wonderful aroma of roast, veggies, and potatoes cooking away. :)

Sorry for such a short post, but I will be sure to blog again VERY SOON! Maybe even a video? :)

Ciao!

~Mandy
